Preliminary Study on the Behaviour of Fibre-Reinforced Polymer Piles in Sandy Soils

Fibre-reinforced polymer (FRP) is a type of composite material used to provide resistance corrosion when incorporated into piles. However, there gap in knowledge terms the behaviour FRP piles under axial or lateral loading soils. Thus, aim this experimental study assess factors that influence FRPs and load sandy soil. CFRP (carbon-fibre-reinforced polymer) GFRP (glass-fibre-reinforced were tested experiment based on special pressure chamber.
